Metrotown Mall

I made my first trip out to Metropolis at Metrotown (Mall) yesterday. It's massive and pretty hard work trying to make your way right around and see every single shop... luckily they have these special seats where you can take a quick nap.

ANZAC Day

Friday night at Moose's we played the ANZAC Day footy match live and had a pretty big crowd for it. The next morning (ANZAC Day) there was a 'dawn' ceremony at the war memorial on Cambie St at 9am and after that a massive group of people came in for brunch which featured some of the standard classic menu items such as meat pies and chook parmas as well as some specials for the day like lamingtons and Vegemite on toast. We were going to open from 10-2 then again from 6-late but ended up going right the way through from 10am til 3am. It was a massive 17 hr shift but also quite a bit of fun as you can see from some of these pics...
